Choosing a Realtor - I should have listened to my Mom

When I started talking to my parents about moving in this direction my Mom mentioned that she thought that I should find a different realtor. Just because you are an adult doesn't mean you shouldn't listen to your Mom. I called the realtor that I had worked with in the past. While having a conversation on speakerphone he preceded to basically laugh at the fact that I was still in the same price range that I was before and was real encouraging that there would be much to buy in this area in that price range. The kicker was when he said, "Well I haven't been in that price range for quite awhile, so I will have to do some research to see what is available." I knew that I needed to find someone different to help me and encourage me on this exciting time in my life. Oh great now I am going to have to tell my mom I should have listened to her. :)
